Charts and trends

Once you have a few months of statements ingested, two surfaces show what's actually happening across your rent and management-fee history.

/statements/trends — portfolio view

Open the Statements page and click View trends → in the summary band. The trends view plots monthly rent received, monthly management fees, and the running balance across whichever properties + date range you select. Filter by property (one, several, or all) and by range (3 months, 6 months, 12 months, or all-time) to home in on a specific question — e.g. "did rent at the Sundale Villas dip after the May tenant changeover?".

Property ledger chart

Each property's Ledger tab opens with a chart above the entries table — same data the statements page rolls up, but scoped to that one property. Useful for spotting per-property anomalies: a sudden spike in management fees, a missed month, an expense category that's grown out of pattern.

What it isn't

Charts are read-only — they reflect whatever's already in your statements. They don't predict future rent, don't account for inflation or RPZ caps, and don't compare your numbers to market benchmarks. If you want comparative analysis, ask Elliot — it can summarise trends and call out anomalies in plain English.
