Triaging unmatched email

Anchorlet tries hard to attach every inbound email to the right open issue automatically. When it can't — or when you want to double-check what the AI did — open Mail → Triage.

What's in the view

Two sections, both scoped to your inbox:

  • Unmatched — inbound emails that no matcher could attach to an issue. Usually means a brand-new topic, an email from someone you haven't communicated with before, or a body too short for the AI to make a confident pick.
  • Routed today (collapsed by default) — every inbound email auto-routed to an issue today. If the AI sent a message to the wrong issue, find it here and reassign.

The sidebar tab also shows a counter — the number of currently unmatched emails — so you can see at a glance whether you have triage to do.

The three actions on each unmatched row

  • Route to issue… opens a search modal of every open issue across your workspaces. Pick one and the email is attached to it; the email's body also lands in that issue's timeline so the rest of the workspace can see it. The "Create new issue from this email" link at the bottom of the modal pre-fills a new-issue form with the subject and body.
  • Mark not an issue records that this email isn't issue-related (a newsletter, a spam reply, a FYI from your accountant). It's removed from the unmatched list.
  • Reply directly opens the standard Mail Inbox view so you can reply without attaching to an issue.

What it isn't

Triage shows your own inbox only — emails that landed for other workspace members aren't listed here. (We're working on a workspace-wide triage view; for now each member triages their own.)
